Volkswagen Vehicles Clarification

Further to the statement of the Speaker of the Parliament of Wednesday June 8, regarding the interpretation of the constitution, Ets FA Kettaneh wishes to make it clear that the Volkswagen Group (unlike 60 years ago) manufactures a range of vehicles able to contain from 2 people (Audi R8) up to 66 people (Volkswagen Ônibus).

Besides, all Volkswagen vehicles transport in complete safety and security, and without concern, passengers of all political or religious considerations.

What a great success for Lebanon, F.A Kettaneh and Elie Bourji!!!

Elie, our VW Team Leader, scored at the recent service Qualification World Championship (SQWC) amongst the first 20 best Service Master Technician of the world and second of the Region Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.

More than 15,000 Volkswagen employees worldwide participated in the SQWC and out of that, more than 100 participants from 70 countries attended the finals in Wolfsburg, Germany.

Elie did an outstanding result when, in the category "Best Master Technicians", he achieved a remarkable 2nd place.

Ets. F. A. Kettaneh S.A celebrated another glamorous Gala Dinner at Portemilio Hotel on January 7th.

Mr. Nabil KETTANEH, Chairman of the board and CEO, welcomed all the employees and congratulated them for the outstanding achievements made throughout the year 2010, highlighting the company’s vision and reinforcing the commitment towards its principles and goals.

Sixteen awards in addition to a multitude of prizes were distributed during a lovely dinner followed by a splendid night of an entertaining and musical program.

In an agreeable and family atmosphere, Kettaneh staff and Management, all together, looked forward to another successful year!

The new Skoda Fabia S2000 makes its debut at the Kettaneh showroom.

Six times Lebanon rally championship winner Roger Feghali drove his way into the Skoda Showrooms revealing the new Skoda Fabia S2000 rally car. The car was unveiled to the invitees during a press conference that was held in the showroom at Charles Helou Avenue on the 15th of September 2010, in the presence of Mr. Nabil Kettaneh, CEO of Ets. F. A. Kettaneh S.A.

Rally legend Roger Feghali, has assertively chosen the Skoda Fabia for this year’s championship as it will give “total control and has lots of potential” as he stated after AL ARZ rally which he had previously won. “The Fabia will leave no room for other cars to compete in the championship this year,” he added.

Mr. Kettaneh also highlighted the major impact of this car in the local market and the professional racing lane.

The new Fabia is equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, a six-speed sequential transmission and a new four-wheel drive system that gives the driver total stability and great handle on the roads.

Introducing this new WRC car is a leading step from Ets F.A. Kettameh S.A., the exclusive importer and representative of Volkswagen, Audi, and Skoda vehicles. The new Skoda Fabia S2000 marks the birth of a new breed of rally cars to take over the racing tracks of Lebanon.

City Kids 2010

F.A Kettaneh Pharma (s.a.r.l) has participated in City Kids 2010, the baby, kid & mother fair, at the Forum de Beirut from June 22nd till June 27th, 2010.

City kids included workshops, competitions, games and surprises for babies. It was also highlighted by a summer musical theater for “Mini Studio” team.

F.A Kettaneh pharma displayed her new baby collections from Evenflo, Hauck, Esprit, Disney and Icoo, in an animated atmosphere including music, a clown and face painting.

In spite of the market difficulties, Ets. F. A. Kettaneh, exclusive agent of AUDI, VW and SKODA in Lebanon, pursued its growth in 2009 by inaugurating two new showrooms on Charles Helou Avenue, one for SKODA and the other for pre-owned cars.

In this context, Ets. F. A.  Kettaneh’s car sales increased by 7% in 2009 while the total automotive market in Lebanon dropped by 2% and the European cars market by 3%. The company’s Auto After Sales turnover improved by 25% in 2009 compared to 2008.

Having broadened its business scope into the Medical, Pharmaceutical and Energy & Automation fields as well, the company witnessed a 50% increase in revenues in these sectors.

In 2009, Kettaneh’s non audited net income reached US$ 1 million and its net asset value US $30 Million.

Ets. F.A. Kettaneh intends to pursue its investment program in the coming two years, by expanding extensively its Auto After Sales facilities in order to provide its customers with utmost level of services.

Kettaneh assure their customers that neither of the two Brazilian manufactured Volkswagen models, Voyage and Nuovo Gol, whose mechanical problems have been expounded in the press communiqué dated February 12th, 2010, has been imported to Lebanon. Like all other VW models of German origin, the Brazilian models currently imported do not have any mechanical problems.

Kettaneh’s one-of-a-kind Festive Service Week

In line with Kettaneh’s drive to provide outstanding customer care and attention to all their clients a festive service week was held from December 7th till 13th 2009 for all Audi, VW, and Skoda customers, offering a free 15 point checkup, a free oil change under the supervision of German engineers.

Once the 15 point checkup sheet was handed over to the customers, they were offered a 25% discount on labor & parts.

During this event, ETS. F.A. Kettaneh displayed a VW Touareg tuned & equipped with ABT sports package, that Kettaneh newly acquired as a sole representative in Lebanon.

In addition, our partners had the chance to exhibit their products & services. Among them were Castrol lubricants, Yokohama tires, Berga and Varta batteries, Ziebart car care and Kunhadi Organization.

A selection of new Audi, VW and Skoda models were available for a Test-drive which gave the Kettaneh customers a first-hand experience on these models.

This festive service week had a huge success which demonstrated the commitment that Kettaneh is constantly aiming to provide excellence in the automotive industry and by being the reference in after sales.
