• SINAMICS S110 Basic Servo Drive

The SINAMICS S110 positioning drive with its built-in basic positioning system is ideal when you need to position machines axes simply, quickly and accurately. While the positioning drive relieves the higher-level machine control system of this task, this flexible converter actually offers much more. As an alternative to a basic positioning system, the positioning drive can be assigned set values as a speed axis using analog input or a field bus interface, such as PROFIBUS, CAN, PROFINET. Additionally, the positioning drive can control a wide range of built-in safety functions with on-board safety terminals without intricate additional circuits. As a modular single-axis drive with servo functionality, the positioning drive covers a power range from 120 W (1 AC 230 V) to 90 kW (3 AC 400 V). It can be used to position both synchronous servomotors and induction motors.

SINAMICS S120 modular motion control drives are designed for high performance drive applications in mechanical and systems engineering. With Siemens high performance drive capabilities, you get a range of coordinated components and functions as a complete motion control drives package. Our motion control drives include high-performance single drives and coordinated drives (multiple-axis applications) with vector or servo functionalities hat allow implementation of customized high performance drive solutions. In addition to innovative system architecture and digital communication options, our motion control drives provide efficient engineering and quick commissioning resulting from innovative tools and simple wiring. The motion control drives in the SINAMICS S120 high performance drive range deliver performance from 0.12 to 4,500 kW (230 V, 380 - 480 V and 500 - 690 V; 50/60 Hz) and come in a variety of designs and cooling types.

• Cabinet Modules SINAMICS S120 CM

A modular cabinet unit solution for high performance applications in industrial mechanical engineering and plant construction is available together with the SINAMICS S120 cabinet modules. The cabinet modules are particularly suited to applications where several drives must work together coordinated. The drive system is thereby normally made up of several motor modules which are connected to the common DC link.   
The Motor Modules are in turn powered by a central Line Module.
This kind of configuration allows an interchange of energy between the individual drives, as well as offering a compact and cost-effective design. By this, the power supply is relieved. It is often possible to use Line Modules with a lower rated power than the total power of the connected Motor Modules. This in turn reduces space and expenditure. The SINAMICS S120 cabinet modules also allow building up single motor drives with greater power outputs. E.g. a 4.5 MW drive with 24-pulse-input can be realized by connecting several Line and Motor Modules.

The cabinet units offer protection ranging from IP20 to IP54.

• Cabinet units SINAMICS S150

SINAMICS S150 cabinet units have been designed for variable-speed drives in machine building and plant construction. They are particularly suitable for use with variable-speed drives with high requirements regarding dynamic response and speed accuracy, frequent braking cycles with high braking energies, and four-quadrant operation.
SINAMICS S150 offers high-performance speed control with high accuracy and dynamic response.
The cabinet units are available for an output range from 75 kW to 1200 kW.
